Sisterhood
The heart of the sorority is love, friendship, and sisterhood. Planning events such as roadtrips, girls' nights, and National Convention, there's plenty of opportunities to bond with sisters near and far. Sisterhood extends beyond undergraduate years and truly lasts a lifetime. With over 6000 sisters internationally, there will always be a home. Each sister is unique in her own way, but together as a sisterhood, we all stand as one.
Scholarship
aKDPhi puts an emphasis on academic excellence. By providing a vast network of support for academic endeavors, aKDPhi recognizes the excellence of our sisters with rewards and scholarships. We strive for each sister to reach her maximum potential and fulfill her academic goals.
Leadership
Our members are involved in different organizations on and off-campus. Being involved in extracurricular activities demonstrates pride in our university and helps us build leadership skills. We take pride in the achievements all of our sisters have accomplished throughout their academic careers and beyond.
Service
alpha Kappa Delta Phi's national philanthropy is Breast Cancer Awareness. 1 in 8 women are projected to be diagnosed with Breast Cancer, so we are dedicated to raising awareness and funds for local charities that support women's health and empowerment. Nationwide, we have raised over $1 million throughout the years for breast cancer research! As a chapter, we strive to battle food insecurity in Syracuse.
Asian Awareness
We are an Asian-interest, but not exclusive, organization. We strive to promote Asian awareness in the community and educate others about the culture. Each of our sisters come from diverse backgrounds and are committed to empowering people of minority backgrounds through our organization.
